As part of a recent project to renovate and beautify the entryway of the Diocesan Pastoral Center in downtown Phoenix, I was tasked with painting a decorative border to go along the circular soffit of the ceiling, as well as designing and painting two decorative flourishes that flanked both sides of the archway above the entrance doors. The entire project of a 58ft border and 12ft flourishes took about 4 months to complete.
