On Friday, December 5th, I will be giving a talk and leading a Paint & Sip event at St. Gabriel the Archangel in Cave Creek. The event is part of the parish's Marriage Enrichment Ministry and is open to all engaged and married couples.

 

The presentation will be on Mary & St. Joseph in Sacred Art, how they have been depicted throughout the years and common symbols and colors associated with them, and how they are the ultimate models of virtue and holiness for men and women. As Advent will have just begun, it will be a fitting time to reflect on the Holy Family. The talk will be followed by a Paint & Sip activity where everyone will have the chance to create their own painting based on what they've learned.
